INTRODUCTION:
Draupadi Murmu ,the first person belonging to the tribal community is an Indian politician who is serving as the 15th and current President of India since 25th July 2022
BIRTH HISTORY:
She was born on 20th June 1958(age 64yrs).at Uparbeda,Mayurbhamj,Odisha India.
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE:
163 in centimeters and 5'4" in inches.Eye and hair are black in color.
QUALIFICATIONS OF PRESIDENT DRAUPADI MURMU:
She did her schooling from K.B HS Uparbeda School,Mayurbhanj.She completed her Bachelor of Arts from Rama Devi Women's College Bhubaneswar,Odisha.
FAMILY MEMBERS:
Draupadi's father name is Biranchi Narayan Tudu who was a farmer.Her father and grandfather were the head of the village .She has two brothers Bhagat Tudu and Sarani Tudu. Draupadi has 2 sons.One of the sons died on a road accident while her another son Laxman Murmu died on 2009.Her daughter Itishri Murmu is a bank worker in Odisha.Her husband died due to cardiac arrest.
ACHIEVEMENTS OF PRESIDENT DRAUPADI
MURMU:
- She was elected as councilor of the Rairangpur District of Odisha in 1997.In the same year she was elected as the Vice President of Rairangpur.
- In 2000 assembly elections she was elected as a BJP minister from the Rairangpur Constituency and was in charge of the Department of Transport,Commerce,Fisheries and Animal Husbandry till 2004.
- In May 2015 she was elected as the Governor of Jharkhand.
- In 2007 she received the Nilkantha award for the best MLA by Odisha Legislative Assembly.
CONCLUSION:
